Obamacare Round-Up

Palin Wins! That is the title of a post on the Wall Street Journal weblog here.

Everybody is selling, no one is buying seems to be the position on Obamacare here in this Washington Post op-ed (and in every other field of life as well).

Michael Barone in the New York post has a piece that explains the "Why The Public Isn't Buying It."

Here is another point that could explode Obamacare from The Wall Street Journal. I think the title says it all, "Illegal Immigration Enters the Health-Care Debate". Should American Taxpayers provide "free" healthcare to illegal immigrants?

The New York Times is reporting that Obama's "political arm" - Organizing for America - is having trouble organizing its volunteers to support Obamacare, here. The article blames "campaign fatigue" without ever wondering if, just perhaps, even Obama's supporters can not support Obamacare.

Hear Something Fishy? There's an App for that over here at PJTV.

The Pittsburgh Tribune is reporting that "Angry Crowd Jeers Spector"

Rasmussen is reporting that "54% Say Passing No Healthcare Reform Better Than Passing Congressional Plan.". I say, AMEN!

This blog here reports "Rep. Giffords canceled her town hall in Sahuarita/Green Valley, AZ and Jesse Kelly, her Republican challenger, scheduled an appearance in the same venue at the same time and place." Video of townhall at website.

Powerline is talking about Obama's "secret" deal with drug-makers titled, "Quid Pro Quo." How will Obamacare help American citizens when it seems to be spending so much time helping lobbyists, big business, and itself?

UK's Stephen Glover has an article in the Daily Mail titled, "I deeply resent the Americans sneering at our health service - but perhaps that's because the truth hurts." It does indeed, Mr. Glover. And I'm so sorry.

The heat and pressure are turning our political lumps of coal into diamonds. The Jamestown Sun is reporting that Sen. Conrad (D-ND) says "he he won’t support government-run health care program." He is presenting a "cooperative non-profit insurance option to compete with private health care. It would not be government run." Not what I want but at least the government is out of the equation.
