President Bush and Laura had dinner with Secretary of State Rice last night.
He recently described her "as “like my sister".
It is worth pointing out that this President has appointed two African-Americans as Secretary of State, Mr. Powell and Ms. Rice. Both, I believe, historic firsts.
These Secretaries of State have been the international face of the United States of America for the past eight years. And President Bush has done more for Africa itself than any other president in history.
Many may disagree with this administration, many hated this administration but on the eve of its end, I believe conservatives can find many reasons to be proud of this administration as well.
