The new administration has suspended some regulations of Bush's for review. One regulation that should be kept in place is "prohibiting medical facilities from receiving federal money for discriminating against doctors and nurses who refuse to assist with abortions or dispense contraceptives based on religious grounds."
Why should a medical facility get federal money after discriminating against medical professionals who are also conscientious objectors to abortions? I don't think people should be allowed to refuse to dispense contraceptives but I think any doctor or nurse has the right to refuse to murder an unborn child.
Is this another step towards FOCA? Write your Congressional representatives today and tell them FOCA goes too far!
