Terrorist Coverage

I've been annoyed at the level of intensity the media have been giving this latest terrorist attempt on that Christmas Day flight until I realized that but for the detonation malfuntion, 200+ people would have died.

Now, I think they are completely justified and am wondering if this is not also the pivot point for the media where they realize exactly what they have done when they soft-soaped Obama so he could be president.

If the media gave him as much scrutiny as they do now during the elections, would Obama have been elected?
