Gotta love that New York Post. One of their editorials today points out how gaffe-matic Biden could have caused a "pig panic" with his stupid swine flu comments on the Today show earlier in the week.
One thing to remember people, during the "regular" flu season running from Nov. to March, roughly 36,000 people die. That is correct. 36,000 people die from influenze every year in the United States alone.
This "swine flu" has killed about 100 people worldwide.
The media are playing out this crisis for their own pureile reasons. And interestingly enough, while the media do this huge distracting song-and-dance over the flu, Congress passed an appalling budget complete with disgusting backdoor appropriations to set up universal healthcare.
Let's be clear about one thing, universal healthcare is evil. No good can come of it for the American people.
So before we get as panicky as Biden over the swine flu, let's take a reality break and realize that now more than ever, we have to watch Congress like a deficit-hawk.
