Are Vicious Gay Activists Hurting the Gay Movement?

Yes, says Andrew Breitbart in this op-ed in today's Washington Times.

I have to say I agree with Mr. Breitbart. Perez Hilton executed a set-up on Ms. California. The extreme antics of the leftwing gay activists is repulsive. And if more stunts like targeting Mormons rather than Muslims happens, these activists will only hurt their movement.

There is something hypocritical about activists targeting the weakest points instead of taking more principled stands.

PETA only throws paint at women in fur coats, not Harley-Davidson bikers in leather jackets.

Vegans target Family-friendly McDonald's rather than Burger King's blue collar worker demographics.

And gay activists pick on Miss USA contestants and Mormons rather than Muslim Imams who advocate death-to-homosexuals.

And why, why, why do they give Obama a pass when he has outright said he does not believe in gay marriage?

Mr. Breitbart is right to call them hypocrites.
