Raising Food Costs in A Recession

Brilliant.

The geniuses over at Time magazine and in Congress have decided that now is the best time to raise the price of food by increasing the regulatory powers of the FDA and charging the food companies for it.

Not only does this mean that only the largest corporations will be able to afford these new costs (bye bye artisanal and organic food producers) but they will simply pass the costs onto us the consumer.

So clean that plate now, because if this bill passes, it's gonna get a lot more expensive to eat.
